The underlying circuit is a custom PCB designed by me which uses the classic three transistor topography you would find on many vintage fuzz pedals like the MK II for example.

The constellation of components which make up this device were not chosen to mimic the values you find in a real vintage fuzz effect. Instead they were chosen to present a device which will work well when paired with a wide range of guitars and amps and to minimise unwanted noise. With a set of three metal can BC108 silicon transistors and two simple controls the effect can go from bright and jangly to mushy doom with adjustment of the guitars volume control. Negative feedback paths are applied to give the unit a more rounded tone than tradition silicon devices making it sound close to a germanium fuzz than silicon.

Simple controls LVL (Volume) and CTRL (Gain) for intuitive usage the unit delivers rich, textured fuzz tones perfect for rock, blues music or even sludge metal at higher settings.

The design was inspired by the old military radio equipment that you will often see here in Switzerland. The enclosure is hand painted by brush with enamel paint and the graphic is laser engraved in house to give it a rough vintage tech vibe.
